
Biografia
Giuliano Taviani (Rome, 1969)
is an Italian composer and musician.
He studied jazz orchestration with Marco Tiso, electronic music with Luca Spagnoletti, and
traditional composition with Alessandro Cusatelli.
He began his career in the early 1990s writing music for theatre, before establishing a long-
standing activity in film and television.
He has composed the scores for over 90 films and TV series, presented at major national and
international festivals. In some projects, he shares the composition work with Carmelo Travia.
His work includes Boris, Cesare Must Die, Black Souls, and Diamonds.
He has received multiple David di Donatello and Nastro d’Argento nominations, winning the
David di Donatello Award for Black Souls and the Nastro d’Argento 2025 for Diamonds.
